1. Who operates Blink

Logan Pendragon operates Blink as part of Logan Pendragon Forge. For privacy questions or requests, email loganpendragonmultiverse@gmail.com or use the Forge contact page.

2. Information we collect

Accounts store your display name, username, email address, password hash and creation date. We store the posts, comments, tags and category requests you submit, their timestamps, and account identifiers needed to associate them with you. We record acceptance of the current terms. We do not store your password in readable form. Hosting systems process connection data such as IP addresses, request paths, browser information and security logs. Short rate-limit records help prevent abuse.

3. What is public and what is private

Your display name, username, profile, posts, tags and comments are public and may be indexed by search engines. Your email address, password hash and category-request history are not displayed publicly. The operator can access account records and requests to maintain the service, respond to support, moderate abuse and comply with law. A category request is a private suggestion for review, not an automatically published category.

4. Why we use it

We use account information to authenticate you, recover access and provide the features you request. We use content to publish and share your blinks and conversations; requests to improve categories; and technical information to keep the service secure and reliable. Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, these uses rely on performing the service agreement, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, legal obligations, or consent where required.

5. Cookies, fonts and analytics

A Secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in and protects forms. It can last up to 30 days; signing out clears the browser session cookie. Essential cookies are required for accounts. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the network information necessary to deliver them. Google Analytics loads automatically on public information pages without an in-site acceptance prompt. It may use analytics cookies and device/browser information to measure visits and use. It is used only on public information pages, not posts, profiles, search results, forms or account pages. It receives page paths without query strings or fragments and a create-blink button event. Advertising personalization, Google signals and enhanced automatic measurement are disabled. No post text, email, username or category-request text is sent as an analytics event.

Blink does not provide an in-site analytics toggle. Browser settings, content blockers and Google Analytics opt-out tools may limit collection. We do not sell information or use analytics for targeted advertising.

6. Providers and sharing

The application and database are hosted on the operator’s GoDaddy VPS in the United States. Hosting, email delivery, Google Fonts and Google Analytics process information needed for their services. Product feedback submitted through the Live button is stored in the private Forge feedback hub with the information you enter and the page origin/path, without query strings or application state. A reply email is optional, and contributor credit requires a separate choice. We do not sell your personal information or use Blink data for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse or security issues. External links and other websites have independent policies.

7. Retention and deletion

Account data remains while the account is active. You can delete your blinks and comments, and delete your entire account through Account settings after confirming your password. Deletion removes those records from the live application; deleting a blink also removes its comments. Category requests remain until the account is deleted or the operator removes them. Operational recovery copies and security records may temporarily retain information after live deletion and are restricted to operational purposes. Legal preservation duties may require longer retention. Copies made by visitors, search engines or other independent services are outside our control.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing where applicable. Contact us from your account email; we may request proportionate identity verification. Never send a password. Depending on your location, you may also complain to your data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

9. Age, transfers and security

Accounts are for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect account information from children. If you believe a child supplied information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate. Using the service can involve processing in the United States and other countries where providers operate. We use HTTPS, password hashing, access controls and form protections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We update this notice when data practices change and revise its effective date. Material changes will be announced in the Change Log or the application. Contact us if you need clarification about a practice before sharing information.
